Our Story

The Staffordshire Bull is a proper, traditional pub on Parkside in Stafford. Run by Julie and Steve for the past nine years, it's the kind of place where everybody knows your name and newcomers are made to feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door.

A Warm Welcome

Step inside and you'll find one large, warm room with wooden floors, a wooden bar, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay for another round. There's no pretence here — just good company, good drinks, and a proper pub feel.

We're proudly dog friendly (water bowls provided, fuss guaranteed) and family friendly. Whether you're popping in for a quick one after work, settling in for the evening, or bringing the whole family along, you're always welcome.

What We Serve

We keep a great selection behind the bar:

  • Rotating guest ales — something different every time
  • Quality Guinness
  • Popular lagers on draught and in the fridge
  • A huge range of spirits and mixers
  • Soft drinks for the drivers and little ones
  • Bar snacks — crisps, sweets, and treats

Bring Your Own Food

We don't serve meals, but you're more than welcome to bring food in from nearby takeaways. There's a chicken and kebab shop, pizza place, Chinese, and a convenience store all within footsteps of the pub.

Part of the Community

The Staffordshire Bull isn't just a pub — it's the heart of the Parkside community. Julie and Steve have built something special here over nine years: a place where regulars become friends, and friends become family.

We're part of the Stonegate Group (Great British Pubs), with the freehold owned by Stonegate and the day-to-day run by Julie and Steve.
